Final Stretch of Western Slovenian Motorway Opened Today

Vipava, 13 August - The final stretch of the motorway leading from Ljubljana to the western city of Nova Gorica and on to the Italian border will be inaugurated on Thursday. The 11km stretch, considered one of the most technically-challenging road construction projects to date, is being opened ten years after initial plans for it were approved.
