In joining common European market Slovenia favours step-by-step removal of deficiencies in vehicles to meet with European standards. Among those are improvements in brake system, the instalation of speed-limiting device and the introduction of severer regular check-ups, Igor Umek, Slovene Transport and Communications Minister, told Slovene Press Agency (STA) during the Conference of European Ministers for Transport (CEMT) in Vienna.
