Cancer Survival Rate in Slovenia Increasing

Ljubljana, 2 September - Survival of cancer patients in Slovenia increased by 12 percentage points in the 1991-2005 period, a study by the Ljubljana Oncology Institute, the country's leading cancer treatment hospital, shows. However, Slovenia is still behind the EU average survival rate by three percentage points.
