Slovene Press on Drnovšek-Agnelli Meeting and Initialling the Association Agreement

Ljubljana, 12 June - Front pages of Slovene dallies Monday bring reports on unofficial meeting of Slovene Premier Janez Drnovšek with Italian Foreign Minister Susanna Agnelli in Rome. The opinions of Slovene dallies on (non)opposition of Italy to initialling the association agreement differ. While Delo and Republika state Italy seemes not to oppose to the agreement, Večer and Slovenec presume Italy might again use a veto or at least put off the decision on signing the agreement despite Sunday's Drnovšek Agnelli meeting.
