Funds for R&D in Slovenia Up 3% in 2007

Ljubljana, 7 September - Some EUR 500.5m were earmarked for research and development in Slovenia in 2007, which was more than 3% up compared to the year before, according to the national Statistics Office. The funds amounted to 1.45% of Slovenia's GDP - the share however dropped 0.14 percentage points in 2007 over 2006.
