Slovenians Among Most Prone to Suicide, Data Show

Ljubljana, 10 September - Slovenia is one of the countries with the highest suicide rate in the world, the National Statistics Office said ahead of World Suicide Prevention Day on Thursday. A total of 27,000 people have taken their lives in Slovenia in the past 50 years, which means a suicide is committed every 16 hours.
