Krizanic Expects Loan Guarantee Scheme to Perform Better

Ljubljana, 8 September - Finance Minister Franc Krizanic said after a meeting between government representatives and top bankers on Tuesday that the loan guarantee scheme, as a measure alleviating the credit crunch, had produced the desired effect. He expressed hope the scheme would perform even better, not excluding the state assuming higher risks.
