Slovenian MEPs Raise Issue of Italy's Gas Terminal in EP

Strasbourg, 14 September - Slovenian MEPs Jelko Kacin and Alojz Peterle brought up the issue of a gas terminal Italy is planning to construct just off the border with Slovenia at Monday's plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. They pointed out that the terminal in Aquilinia would be a great burden for the environment in the Gulf of Trieste.
