Parliament Committees Lift Blockade of Croatia's EU Talks

Ljubljana, 15 September - The parliamentary foreign policy and EU affairs committees concluded at their joint session on Tuesday that in light of the commitments made by Croatia to the Swedish EU presidency, Slovenia is ready to lift the bulk of its reservations related to Croatia's accession talks. The yes vote came despite strong criticism from the opposition.
