President Supports Arbitration Deal, Opposition Still Critical

Ljubljana/Brdo pri Kranju/Maribor, 29 September - President Danilo Tuerk said Tuesday that the latest arbitration agreement on the border dispute between Slovenia and Croatia was positive and that Slovenia should endorse it. Opposition meanwhile remains critical with the People's Party (SLS) announcing it has collected 6,000 signatures in support of a referendum on the issue.
