Conference: Slovenia Failing in Renewable Energy

Ljubljana, 6 October - Slovenia is one of the least successful EU members in the field of renewable energy sources, and its energy outlook is worrying, a conference on sources of renewable energy held in Ljubljana was told on Tuesday. Slovenia's greenhouse gas emissions exceeded Kyoto targets by 1m kilotonnes in 2008, costing it EUR 20m per year.
