Slovenj Gradec Marks 20 Years of UN Messenger of Peace Status
Slovenj Gradec, 23 October - The town of Slovenj Gradec in the northeast of Slovenia will mark the 20th anniversary of being designated a UN Messenger of Peace with a traditional Peace Festival on Friday. The festivities will culminate with a ceremony on the eve of UN Day, addressed by National Assembly Speaker Pavel Gantar.
