Brussels Extends Slovenian Liquidity Scheme

Brussels, 19 October - The European Commission on Monday endorsed an extension for Slovenia's support scheme to stabilise financial markets by providing state loans to eligible financial institutions for another six months. The liquidity scheme, which was originally confirmed on 20 March, was extended until 19 April 2010.
