Mercator's Profit More Than Halves in January-September

Ljubljana, 29 October - The group around retailer Mercator posted a net profit of EUR 17.6m in the first nine months of 2009, which is 51.8% down year-on-year, the retailer said on the website of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday. The group's net sales revenues meanwhile increased by 2.3% to over EUR 2bn.
