Skiing: Maze Second in Giant Slalom

Aare, 12 December - Slovenia's top female skier Tina Maze won the country's first podium in alpine skiing World Cup this year, as she finished second in the giant slalom event in Swedish Aare. Maze, with a time of 2:23.79, was 0.57 seconds behind France's Tessa Worley. The third place went to Austrian Kathrin Zettel (+0.69).
