Delo Blasts Slovenia's Agriculture Strategies
Ljubljana, 16 December - Daily Delo says on Wednesday that economic appetites of new-age capitalists and local authorities have caused Slovenia's self-sufficiency in food to drop from 70% to 50% in only five years. Domestic producers are losing the battle against imported goods, many cannot cope without subsidies, while cultivable land is disappearing.
