MPs Pass Changes to Motor Vehicles Tax Act

Ljubljana, 18 December - The parliament passed on Friday amendments to the motor vehicles tax act abandoning the taxation by price and introducing taxes tied to the level of CO2 emissions. While the coalition MPs labelled this as a small but important step in environment protection, the opposition accused the government of trying to fill the budget gap.
