Slovene Ski Jumpers Beat Soininen, Parma and Others

Primož Kopač, Slovene ski-jumper, won the 9th international ski-jumping night competition on the plastic ski jump in Velenje (north-eastern Slovenia). Slovene ski jumpers occupied the first five places and beat famous ski jumpers such as Jani Soininen of Finland and Jiri Parma of the Czech Republic, who were the sixth and the seventh. Another international event, the 5th Ford Ski Jumping Challenger, is scheduled for Sunday evening. Slovene ski jumper Franci Petek, World Champion in Predazzo 1991, is to end his career at this competition.
