Rivers Bursting at Seams After Heavy Rain

Ljubljana, 23 December - A number of Slovenian rivers are on the verge of bursting their banks after heavy rain in the past 24 hours. Adding to the problem is the quick melting of snow as temperatures rise towards 10 degrees centigrade. Slovenia's meteorological office has warned of more heavy rain in the coming days.
