Minister Seeking Bipartisan Agreement on Six Provinces

Ljubljana, 11 January - Local Government and Regional Development Minister Henrik Gjerkes has told daily Delo that the coalition reached agreement in principle that it would be best to divide Slovenia into six provinces. He wants to meet opposition leader Janez Jansa next week to try to secure the two-thirds majority needed for passage in parliament.
