Slovenia Retains Top Marks in Freedom House Report
Washington, 12 January - Slovenia retained top marks in the Freedom in the World report released on Tuesday by Freedom House, a US-based human rights and democracy watchdog. While the global situation has been growing worse for the fourth year in a row, improvements are seen throughout the Balkans, according to the 2009 report.
