Minister Says State Has to Keep People Above Poverty Line
Ljubljana, 16 January - No citizen of Slovenia should be poor and their material existence has to be ensured, Labour Minister Ivan Svetlik has told Saturday's daily Dnevnik. While saying that individuals are the most responsible for their situation, he added that the state has to jump in eventually to prevent them falling under the poverty line.
