Golden Fox: Zettel Wins, Maze Second in Slalom
Maribor, 17 January - Kathrin Zettel of Austria capitalised on an error from her compatriot Marlies Schield in the second run to take first place in the women's World Cup slalom event in Maribor on Sunday. Second place went to Slovenia's Tina Maze, who gained seven places with a blazing second run.
