Health Purse Finished 2009 with EUR 75.7M Deficit

Ljubljana, 20 January - The Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS), which provides basic health care insurance for Slovenians, said on Wednesday that EUR 150m secured through saving measures had enabled it to confine the deficit in 2009 to EUR 75.7m. According to ZZZS head Samo Fakin, this is an improvement of EUR 19m on projections made during 2009.
