Job-Saving Subsidies Involve 80,000 Workers, Cost EUR 32M
Ljubljana, 23 January - A total of 1,300 companies have made use of subsidies for shortened working hours and for temporarily redundant workers by the end of 2009. The two anti-crisis measures have helped 80,086 workers and have cost the national budget EUR 32.25m so far, according to data from the Employment Service.
