Changes to Motor Vehicles Tax Act Passed

Ljubljana, 28 January - Following a veto by the National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, deputies passed on Thursday amendments to the motor vehicles tax act that abandon taxation by price in favour of taxes tied to CO2 emissions. The coalition mustered exactly the 46 votes needed for repassing.
