Republika: Adriano Biassutti: Slovenia is stable interlocutor

"I am an optimist, because Slovenia has become a stable country. Slovenia is a solid political talking partner for Italy: the Slovenian government is stable. It can even summon up so much courage as to pass unpopular measures," stated Adriano Biassutti in a discussion for yesterday's issue of Republika. Mr Biassutti is a current member of the Rome parliament, a prominent member of the central leadership of the Italian Christian Democrats, and the actual head of this party in the Friuli-Giulia region, of which he was president a number of years.
