Report: Bank Profits Nosedive in 2009
Ljubljana, 10 February - A report by Slovenia's central bank has found a massive drop in profits by banks in Slovenia. The document on the operations of banks in Slovenia in 2009 debated by Banka Slovenija's Board of Governors found that total pre-tax profit of banks in 2009 stood at EUR 122m, which is 60% less than in 2008 and 76% less than in 2007.
