MPs Prolong Wages Cuts for Officials

Ljubljana, 11 February - MPs endorsed on Thursday in a 69:3 vote the government proposal to extend the 4% pay cut for state officials enforced last year until the end of 2010. They also unanimously backed a 0.2% pay rise for the public sector that had been agreed with the trade unions last year.
