Role of Prevention Stressed as Cancer Awareness Week Closes

Ljubljana, 5 March - Even though activities for cancer prevention and treatment are becoming increasingly successful, the number of cancer patients is growing by the year, Mojca Gruntar Cinc of the Health Ministry said at the closing ceremony of Cancer Awareness Week. President Danilo Tuerk highlighted the importance of prevention.
