National Council Insists Detectives Need to Speak Slovenian

Ljubljana, 12 March - The National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, vetoed on Friday amendments to the detective activities act which allow employment of detectives from the EU and Switzerland in Slovenia, finding it inappropriate that detectives will no longer have to be fluent in Slovenian to get a licence.
