EU Wants Answers on Dismissal of APEK Boss
Brussels, 18 March - The European Commission demanded on Thursday from Slovenia information on last year's dismissal of Tomaz Simonic as head of the Agency for Post and Electronic Communications (APEK). The Commission believes that Simonic might have not been dismissed in accord with EU regulations providing autonomy to national telecommunications regulators.
