Ski-Flying Worlds: Ammann in Lead After First Day, Damjan Sixth
Planica, 19 March - Simon Ammann of Switzerland is in the lead after the first day of competition at the World Ski-Flying Championships in Planica. Amman had jumps of 215.5 and 216.5 metres for a combined score of 445.6 points, 2.8 points ahead of second-placed Adam Malysz of Poland. Slovenia's Robert Kranjec is sixth.
