MPs Overturn Veto on Changes to Detectives Act

Ljubljana, 26 March - The National Assembly passed again on Friday in a 47:4 vote amendments to the detectives act, which allow employment of detectives from the EU and Switzerland in Slovenia. The decision comes after the upper chamber of parliament vetoed the amendments in mid-March, sending them back to MPs for a re-vote.
