Ministers Tajnikar and Vidošević on Krško Nuclear Power Plant

Ljubljana, 21 July - SLOVENIA/CROATIA/JEK
Slovene and Croatian Ministers of Economic Activities, Maks Tajnikar and Nadan Vidošević, met Thursday evening in Ljubljana, discussing mainly ownership and managing of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant (JEK), radioactive waste, the plant's future legal status, and the issue of a fund for financing JEK's dismantling. The major point of disagreement between the two ministers was the question of JEK employees asserting Slovene national interest in JEK bodies, as well as the question of a new nuclear power plant that Croatia plans to build.
