Further Flights Canceled, Rain Washes Out Some Ash Particles

Ljubljana, 18 April - Slovenia limited the no-fly zone to an altitude of 7,600 metres on Sunday as the cloud of volcanic ash descended by about 3,000 metres. With takeoffs and landings still being banned, flag carrier Adria Airways canceled evening flights to London, Frankfurt, Paris, Copenhagen, Zurich, Amsterdam and Brussels.
