Dnevnik: Opinion poll on Financing Religious Communities

In the opinion poll, conducted by the Public opinion and Mass Communications Research Centre at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana in April 1994, 76 percent of the interviewees said they belonged to the Roman Catholic Church. However, only 23.7 percent of them believed in the existence of God, 15.5 of them believed firmly in the life after death and 14.5 percent believed in redemption, the Slovene daily Dnevnik reports Wednesday.
