Negative Average Results of Slovene Banks in 1994
Ljubljana, 29 July - BANKS/SAVINGS/RESULTS
At the end of 1994, there were in Slovenia 33 banks, eleven savings banks, and 72 savings and credit services (HKS), which together reported 190.7 million tolar (US$ 1.69 million) loses, of which the loses of banks accounted for 158.4 million tolar and HKS 51 million tolar. However savings banks operated with positive results and made 18.7 million tolar of profit, reported a bulletin of the National Office for Macro Economic Analyses.
