Police, Minister Defend Handling of Protest
Ljubljana, 20 May - Police and Interior Ministry officials defended the police handling of the violence at Wednesday's student protest in Ljubljana. Had police used force on the crowd, there may have been serious injuries among the protesters and the possibility of the violence spreading to other parts of the city, officials said on Thursday.
