Coal Mining in Trbovlje Extended at Least Until End of 2010

Ljubljana, 20 May - The National Assembly adopted on Thursday a bill that extends production at the Trbovlje-Hrastnik coal mine, which was expected to close at the end of 2009, until the end of 2010. However, if the EU approves changes in state aid distribution, the mine would remain open until the end of 2012.
