Parliament Speaker Accused of Protecting Ljubljana Mayor

Ljubljana, 21 May - Parliament started Friday a debate on a motion to dismiss Speaker Pavel Gantar, with the Democrats (SDS) saying that Gantar was trying to protect Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Jankovic by refusing to call a session on loans given by the state-owned NLB bank for the construction of a new Ljubljana stadium. Gantar rejected the allegations.
