MEP Peterle Says Border Arbitration Accord "Pig in Poke"

Maribor, 22 May - Two-term MEP and Slovenia's first democratically-elected prime minister Lojze Peterle told an interview with daily Vecer on Saturday that the arbitration accord with Croatia appeared to be a pig in a poke. "We don't know whether the arbitration agreement can indeed protect our national interests," he said.
