Court Bans Referendum on Erased

Ljubljana, 15 June - The Constitutional Court has decided it will not allow a referendum on legislation that reinstates the status of some of the estimated 26,000 citizens of the former Yugoslavia who were deleted from Slovenia's permanent resident registry in 1992 because the rejection of the law would create unlawful consequences.
