Guarantee for Deposits to Double to EUR 100K in 2011
Ljubljana, 1 July - The government confirmed on Thursday changes to the banking act raising the limit of state guarantees for bank deposits and savings from EUR 50,000 to EUR 100,000 as of 2011. The move comes on top of the temporary unlimited guarantees, which were introduced in 2008 as response to the crisis and will be in place until the end of 2010.
