Quarter Less Rail Cargo Transport in 2009

Ljubljana, 5 July - Railway cargo traffic fell in 2009 by slightly over 24% compared to the year before, the National Statistics Office said on Monday. A total of 13.1m tonnes of cargo were transported in 2009 and 2,668m tonne kilometres were travelled, almost 75% of which was done as part of international transport.
