Chief Prosecutor: Top Court's Decision Upholds Prosecution's Independence
Ljubljana, 16 July - State Prosecutor General Barbara Brezigar believes that by issuing a stay of an article of the prosecution service act which forms the basis for controversial instructions for prosecutors, the Constitutional Court has upheld the independence of the state prosecution service. Brezigar's reaction has been branded as "rash" by the Justice Ministry.
