Compensation Procedures for Crime Victims to be Sped Up
Ljubljana, 16 August - Justice Minister Ales Zalar presented on Monday changes to the act on compensation for crime victims which aim to simplify procedures as of 1 January 2011. Under the changes, state compensation will also be available for victims who have been unable to obtain court-awarded compensation from the perpetrator.
