Slovenia Celebrates Prekmurje Day, Lack of Ceremony Angers Opposition

Ljubljana, 17 August - Slovenia is celebrating a national holiday marking the reunification of the northeastern-most Prekmurje region with Slovenia 91 years ago on Tuesday. While a local ceremony was held on Monday evening, there is no national ceremony this year due to cost cutting, something that has angered the opposition.
