Finance: Economy in Vicious Circle Due to Public Sector Expenses
Ljubljana, 16 September - Business daily Finance says on Thursday that Slovenia's economy is trapped in a vicious circle. The government is unable to cut into the public sector and aims most of its recession measures at the private sector, burdening it with higher excise duties and an increase in minimum pay. This in turn slows down possible recovery.
