11 Thousand Signs of Petition against Nuclear Tests

        Meršak stressed that the action is not a political one and that the Greens do not intend to gain political points with it. The collecting of signs is one of the environment protection issues for the Greens, and is one of its activities. The Greens of Slovenia had introduced a draft declaration on nuclear tests in the parliamentary procedure before the parliamentary holidays, however, the proposition has not been discussed. Meršak also told that the initiative is supported by more than a half of all MPs and three heads of government departments.
